Second division soccer club Greuther Fürth has once again strengthened its staff on the last day of the transfer period.
As the club announced on Tuesday, striker Lukas Petkov is moving from FC Augsburg to Fürth, and the clubs have agreed on a loan until the summer.
“Lukas is a dangerous midfielder who can also be used up front,” said sporting director Rachid Azzouzi: “He has good dynamics with and against the ball, which goes well with our style of play.”
The 22-year-old Petkov has made seven appearances in the Bundesliga this season, plus one game in the DFB Cup.
