Footballer Gregory van der Wiel and Rose Bertram have split up after eight years. The 27-year-old model reports this in the new episode of the YouTube series Open Card.
“I’m currently single and ready to mingle,” she says. She also says that the decision to break up was not an easy one. “You don’t decide in one go that you split up. That happened over a long period of time. It has been ready for three months now.”
According to Bertram, the two did not break up with an argument. “He is the father of my two children and I would be very sorry if we broke up in a bad way.”
Two years ago, footballer Gregory van der Wiel (34) wrote in an open letter on his website about mental problems that he struggles with. The panic attacks and depressive feelings played a role in the breakup of the relationship, according to Bertram.
