Young AZ has won the second victory of this early season. Maarten Martens’ team won 3-1 on a visit to Helmond Sport. The Alkmaar goals came from Soulyman Allouch, Damienus Reverson and Robin Lathouwers.
Young AZ started the match in Brabant well. It was therefore Soulyman Allouch who opened the score for the Alkmaarders. After that, Helmond Sport became a bit stronger. This resulted in the equalizer. Martijn Kaars was the goalscorer. The former Volendam player lobed the ball beautifully over Westerveld.
Shortly in the second half it was Kaars again that became dangerous. He did that with a fantastic bicycle kick, but Westerveld managed to save. From the switch, Damienus Reverson made the 2-1 for Jong AZ with a nice bounce.

Helmond Sport increased the pressure in the final phase of the match. Yet it was Jong AZ that managed to decide the match. In the 89th minute it was defender Robin Lathouwers who managed to score. And so Jong AZ is in second place in the first division with six points from two games.
