The police have started a search in the forest between Hilversum and Lage Vuursche together with numerous volunteers, including the so-called ‘veterans search team’ and the police dog brigade. There was last contact with Martijn around 2.45 pm on Monday afternoon. Anyone with more information is asked to contact the police.
According to the police, Martijn is a white boy with straight blond hair and blue eyes. He has a normal build and is 1.83 meters tall. On the day of his disappearance, he was believed to be wearing a white t-shirt with beige cargo pants and white Puma sneakers underneath.
