London (dpa -Afx) – In response to the massive Russian drone attack on Ukraine, Great Britain has imposed new sanctions against Moscow. These include measures against companies that support the Russian military and the war of information, as well as against financial institutions and ships of the so -called shadow fleet, as the British Foreign Ministry announced.
Russia had overwhelmed Ukraine on Sunday after the first direct negotiations for three years with the strongest drone attacks after the war. Moscow used 273 unmanned flight objects, reported the air forces in Kyiv.
With the sanctions, delivery chains for “deadly Russian weapons systems” would be interrupted, the British said. Foreign Minister David Lammy said that the recent attacks would once again show that Russian President Vladimir Putin was a “war driver “./Mj/dp/jha
