On February 4, 2024, the Grammy Awards will be presented for the 66th time in Los Angeles. In addition to the already known categories, there will be three more new categories this year – “Best African Music Performance”, “Best Alternative Jazz Album” and “Best Pop Dance Recording”. What is noticeable even when you take a quick look at the chosen ones is the many female artists. The women have fought their way to the top over the past year, so they now clearly dominate the selection. This 2024 list is topped by SZA, who has been nominated for seven awards.

“Record Of The Year”
The Recording of the Year can be awarded to artists, producers and sound engineers who were able to impress with a song of outstanding quality in the respective year.
“Album Of The Year”
The Album of the Year award is given to the person who released the highest musical quality record in 2023.
“Song of the Year”
In contrast to “Record Of The Year”, Song of the Year honors songwriting and composition and is awarded to the person who composed the lyrics and melody.
