Government and Engie sign agreement, two nuclear power stations open for 10 years longer: “Belgium remains a nuclear country”

On Wednesday morning, Prime Minister Alexander De Croo (Open Vld), Energy Minister Tinne Van der Straeten (Green) and Thierry Saegeman (CEO Engie Electrabel) signed the agreement that allows two nuclear power stations in our country to remain open for ten years longer. The deal took 19 months to negotiate.
