Four goals, always after a counterattack: Eintracht Frankfurt is good at switching. Werder Bremen was still surprised by this in the Bundesliga.
At the end of the 4th match day, Eintracht Frankfurt won 4:3 (3:2) against Werder Bremen in a thrilling game. Mario Götze (2nd minute), Randal Kolo Muani (32nd), Jesper Lindström (39th) and Djibril Sow (48th) scored for the guests from Frankfurt. All goals came after counterattacks from Frankfurt.
In the end, Eintracht still had to fear for their first win of the season because Bremen’s Niclas Füllkrug scored a penalty (90+2). Anthony Jung (14th) and Leonardo Bittencourt (17th) had previously scored for Werder.
In the table, Eintracht Frankfurt has caught up with Werder Bremen in eleventh place with five points. The climber is one place ahead of Frankfurt due to the better goal difference.
