Gossip are back with a new single and album announcement

“Crazy Again” is the name of the album preview and comes with a video starring Beth Ditto.

Beth Ditto, Nathan ‘Brace Paine’ Howdeshell and Hannah Billie have announced a new Gossip album for March 22, 2024. It’s supposed to be called REAL POWER and you can already hear the first teaser with the single “Crazy Again”.

Ditto’s group’s press release says about the track: “The song is about being in love and feeling safe.” In the accompanying video from Ssion, the band also appears in a variety of scenarios. Ditto can be seen, among other things, in the toilet, in a newsroom and on stage.

REAL POWER is the follow-up to A JOYFUL NOISE after eleven years and was produced by Rick Rubin, with whom Gossip already worked with on their work MUSIC FOR MEN in 2009.

Singer Beth Ditto hardly seems to believe that the band will soon release a new record with REAL POWER. As she explains in the press release: “When we started, so much of Gossip was about running away – that was always in the music. We survived. We came out of nowhere and ran away. And to be here 20 years later and still making music together is just incredible.”
