According to media reports, Inter Milan is interested in signing German national soccer player Robin Gosens (27).

The Italian champions are negotiating a transfer with Gosens’ current club Atalanta Bergamo, reports the daily newspaper “Gazzetta dello Sport” and the “kicker”.

In Milan, the currently injured professional is to be brought in as reinforcement on the left flank. A loan deal and a final transfer in the summer are under discussion.

Gosens is currently working on a comeback after suffering a serious thigh injury at the end of September. The Rhinelander hopes to be ready for action again in February.

It had recently become known that Newcastle United from the Premier League were trying to get Gosens. The English are reportedly offering the Germany international a long-term contract and a salary nearly three times higher than at Bergamo, where he has played more than 150 games and scored 29 goals since 2017.

The “Corriere dello Sport” wrote that Gosens was “extremely enthusiastic” about the offer from Newcastle.
