Gordon is back, in three (!) programs in one month: overkill?

Gordon seems to say yes to every invitation he receives now that his contract with SBS 6 has expired. We will see him in no fewer than three (!) programs in one month around the turn of the year.

Private boss Evert Santegoeds thought that Gordon’s TV career was over after he publicly lashed out at his boss John de Mol – after all, as RTL boss, competitor Peter van der Vorst would certainly not want to deal with such a headache. Yet we now see Goor appearing here and there in announcements from various broadcasters.

Christmas with Goor

Broadcaster MAX boss Jan Slagter was the first. He has announced that Gordon will be seen in the MAX Christmas concert immediately after the king’s Christmas speech, just like Frans Bauer, Edsilia Rombley, Waylon and Mell, among others. What will he sing in the program presented by Jan himself? ‘The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year’.

Ah, that’s appropriate. He hasn’t been in Evert’s gossip magazine for a month, so it will be soon for Goor the most wonderful time of the year. It is unclear whether Gordon is allowed to say anything during that Christmas concert, but fortunately two weeks later he can completely empty himself in a special of Casa di Beau on RTL 4.

Deflating at Beau

Gordon was recently spotted with Beau and, according to ratings fetishists Tina Nijkamp and Joost Maiburg, that can only mean one thing: Goor will tell his story in Casa di Beau on January 7. The big question is: does he ring in the new year with a lament or does he show some form of self-reflection? Will he approach 2024 with positive momentum?

One thing is certain: that interview will mean a lot for the final phase of Gordon’s TV career. If he chooses to continue his aggrieved noise, it could be the final blow. If he chooses to show some perspective after a period of reflection, a new opportunity may beckon.

Overkill

In any case: Gordon must beware of any overkill, because NTR now reveals that he will also be a guest in Verborgen Verleden in mid-January. “Singer Gordon never liked his last name, but on this journey back in time – a musical rollercoaster – old wounds are closed and he wears the name Heuckeroth with pride for the first time.”

The spokesperson concludes the announcement with a cliffhanger: “And what is Gordon actually looking for in the mountains of Tyrol?”

Wow, will it be true after all? Are there any family members hidden somewhere in the world that Gordon has no quarrel with? We’ll find out on Saturday, January 20. Exciting!
