It was already running for a second season of the Gordon soap on SBS 6, but after the impressive success of the Gerard Joling equivalent on RTL 4, Goor Eggs seems to choose his money: this is a struggle that he is not going to win. And so there is a line through the TV soap Gordon produced by John van den Heuvel: this is me.

‘It’s fake’

It really won’t come anymore, Gordon confirms this morning Good morning Netherlands. “No. There was a while, but in the end I decided not to do it. It did quite a lot of impression on my private life. Yes, you know, it doesn’t really add to me … I have never actually done this before, isn’t it?”

“Of course I did reality programs with Gerard at the time, but that is a completely different story. This is really in your private life, in your existence. It also provoked so much negativity, because people said:” It is fake, it was rehearsed, “I know a lot. I am not going to prove whether it is that or not.”

Geer soap

It has been enough for Gordon. “I thought one season was enough. I’m going to do very different fun things now.”

Has he seen the Geer soap? “No. I’m not going to say much about it either. Gerard is just Gerard and I’m just Gordon. We have had a very nice past together and of course I still see those videos passing by on Tiktok. I am surprised how many people are still taking their fun.”

Radiocome

Patrick Kicken, the most important radioocolumnist in our country, has been calling for months that Gordon returns to the radio. He would get the morning show from Radio 10, which is still in the hands of Lex Gaarthuis.

Is this correct? “I am not going to mention channels, but we will soon announce it. I will think in a week,” says Goor, who at least confirms conversations with Radio 10.

And is it about the morning show? “Yes.”
