Gordon arouses incomprehension from Aran Bade, the star reporter of RTL Boulevard, with a new sneer at Gerard Joling. “It’s just a disorder at Gordon,” said the celebrity expert.

It keeps coming back to Gordon: his desire to join forces with Gerard Joling again. “Isn’t making fun TV the most fun? I would like a kind of finale with Gerard, because it doesn’t feel finished. That’s the only reason why I would still do that,” he says in the Open Casa program by host Robbert Rodenburg.

Sneak at Geer

Robbert is clearly surprised when Gordon expresses this wish. “But will that ever be okay?”

Gordon: “Yes, why not?”

A little later, Gordon continues: “I sometimes think when I see him (Gerard, ed.) that I actually feel quite sorry for him, because I know what he is like. He just has such an incredible drive for attention and success, it is simply indescribable.”

Surprised look

Robbert’s big eyes then say it all. “Don’t you have one?”

Gordon: “No, I haven’t.”

Robbert: “No?!”

Gordon: “No, I haven’t. No. Well, not to that extent.”

These are not really useful statements for someone who would like to collaborate with Gerard, says Aran Bade at the desk RTL Boulevard. “He really needs to go in a different direction, rigorously, to make this possible.”

Disorder

Aran then refers to the images of Gordon and Robbert preparing paella. “It’s just like that paella pan: it’s just a disarray at Gordon’s.”

Colleague Eddy Zoëy: “It is not very attractive for Gerard that if you want to work with Gerard you then give him a sneer, even here. That doesn’t work.”

News Network

Gordon announced this week that he would launch his own Gordon News Network. Aran: “’An antidote to juice and noise,’ he says. ‘I’m going to make short work of the sensational journalists.’ Well, we and Angela de Jong and everyone will get it again. This is what I mean: this is not going to help in a collaboration with Gerard.”

Goor actually needs someone like Wino Omtzigt, Geer’s manager, says Aran. “Gordon just misses that. Gordon misses someone who says: ‘Now we’re just going to do it like this and now you have to stop with that weird Facebook video.’”

Worsen

Aran is referring to the video announcement of that ‘news network’. “That will of course make it worse. He now wants to say something about The Voice again, that it is all terrible and that we are all talking very positively at RTL, but that it is not the case at all.”

“He just really wants to make a fuss and make noise.”
