During the match against FC Groningen, the brothers were particularly impressed by one player, but also by the tribute from the public and players to the seriously ill press secretary Thijs Slegers.

Just like Messi does to perfection. But partly thanks to Simons, you see that PSV is slowly getting back into the flow of the start of the season.”
The brothers are more critical of right winger Johan Bakayoko. “He does have something, but it doesn’t come out enough,” says René, who himself was one of the Belgian’s predecessors in that position. “He doesn’t have the real speed to laugh and pass his man. “But you don’t see that anywhere anymore,” Willy adds. “Our René threw the ball past the left back and then laughed to see where he was.”
