Some passers-by saw how the children took Renée out of the box and decided to take her to a nearby vet. It became clear that the puppy had a Belgian chip, and that the vet could therefore not help them further. The passers-by took Renée back home and eventually found the puppy’s owners via Facebook. On Tuesday afternoon, Leonie and Sean received the phone call, after which they immediately went to pick up Renée.
After a check-up at the vet, the little bulldog turned out to only have a minor cold from the whole adventure.
