Defeating the Boston Celtics 107-88 in the American Basketball League (NBA) Finals, the Golden State Warriors made the situation 1-1 in the series.
The Western Conference champions Warriors won Game 2 of the series against the Eastern Conference champion Celtics with their effective (35-14) performance in the 3rd quarter.
Stephen Curry, who played 29 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals, carried the host Warriors to the victory. Jordan Poole, who came into the game from the side, contributed 17 points.
Jayson Tatum scored 28 points, 6 rebounds, and Jaylen Brown struggled with 17 points and 6 rebounds for Celtics, who finished the game with a 37.5 percent on-court hit rate.
The 3rd and 4th games of the series will be played on the Celtics’ court.
