Camera Linea(TM) HS 16k

Backside Illumination (BSI) is now in production. With their CLHS
interface, this camera offers increased sensitivity and is ideal for
Near-ultraviolet (NUV) and visible imaging applications
Wavelength range such as the inspection of wafers, flat screens and
electronic packaging as well as for image recording in the areas
Photoluminescence and Life Sciences.
The new Linea HS 16k BSI uses Teledyne DALSA’s CMOS TDI 16k sensor
with a pixel size of 5 x 5?m and delivers a maximum line rate of 400
kHz. Compared to front-side illumination (FSI), the BSI model improves
the quantum efficiency in the near ultraviolet and in the visible wavelength range
significantly and increases the signal-to-noise ratio for image acquisition in
low-light environments.

The Linea HS 16k BSI camera is equipped with a CLHS data interface,
which enables a data throughput of 6.5 GPix/sec over a single cable.
An active optical cable (AOC) allows for greater
Cable length, eliminating the need for a repeater, affecting data reliability
significantly improved and system costs reduced.
