Canadian actor and rapper Connor Spice started a series on TikTok in September 2022 and has now concluded it. Under the title “Spin the Globe”, seven rap tracks with international feature guests have been created over the past three months. “Spinnin” with Dutch rapper Bens has already accumulated over 44 million views on Spotify; “Violet”, together with Silla from Zambia over 35 million. At the end of January, Price brought all the artists he has worked with together on one song – the “Globe Cypher”.

The principle behind all the songs was that Price spun a globe and stopped it with his eyes closed. The guest for the next song should come from the country where his finger came to rest. He researched the countries scene and chose rappers who are not yet established names to support their careers. However, his fans also took an interest in the selection and brought him to the Brazilian rapper Lucca DL. All tracks were uploaded to Spotify as the album SPIN THE GLOBE. The artists come from Zambia, Brazil, the Netherlands, India (SIRI), Japan (Kazuo), South Africa (K.Keed) and Germany. The Berlin rapper Zensery was chosen for the seventh and last episode of the project.

In the last video of the series, Price explicitly states that this is the first part. The success of the individual songs and the entire series on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram indicates that a second part is very likely to appear. Price will be supporting Hoodie Allen’s upcoming European and UK tour over the next few months. They are also coming to Germany for four concerts in February.
