The Glass House of 3FM is on the Markt in Den Bosch this year. The radio station announced this on Thursday morning. With the annual ‘Serious Request’ promotion, money will be raised this year for ‘Muscles for Muscles’.
Serious Request has been around since 2004 and is held annually in the week before Christmas. That whole week, radio is made from the Glass House and listeners can request a record for a fee. Which DJs are in the temporary radio studio this year will be announced later.
13.8 million for Metakids
After a number of less successful editions, Serious Request has become more popular in recent years. Last year, more than 13.8 million euros was raised for Stichting Metakids, which it was the second highest amount ever.
The year before, the final score was almost 7.8 million euros for the ALS Netherlands Foundation.
