The long-time Bundesliga coach Markus Gisdol has started his job again at the Turkish football club KaySerispor after just a few months. After eight season games without a victory, the club separated from the 56-year-old, as club president Nurettin Acikalin confirmed the Anadolu Ajansi news agency. The search for a successor started.
Gisdol once trained the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, Hamburger SV and 1st FC Köln in the Bundesliga. This was followed by stations abroad at Lokomotive Moscow and Samsunspor before going to Kayseri in summer.
But the success failed to materialize. The club, for which the former Bundesliga professional Laszlo Benes also plays, is in the penultimate place in the table.
