Humberto Tan is smiling on the cover of the latest Story. Paparazzo Edwin Smulders caught him during an intimate moment with his girlfriend, 24 years his junior. “Respect!”
This week the Story features a photo of a tongue-tied Humberto Tan (see cover below). The 60-year-old RTL 4 star was on the street enjoying his girlfriend, 24 years his junior, and that is newsworthy for the gossip magazine. Editor-in-chief Guido den Aantrekker thinks the images are beautiful and feels a lot of respect for the presenter.
French kissing
Guido is happy with the images of Edwin Smulders. “He was French kissing very deeply when he had exercised with his new love, Elise Roodenburg. We see her in the picture. Story photographer Edwin Smulders had the exclusive photos. He had done his best for that. Elise is someone who has played a role in Humberto’s life for some time.”
“A documentary was released on Videoland in 2023, The Hunt for the Jaguar, which was recorded in Suriname, Humberto’s native country. She was the director of that. And not entirely coincidentally, I think: at the same time that documentary was released, it became known that he had left Ineke, his ex-partner. So they have known each other for a while.”
Respect
The age difference is striking, according to Guido. “Respect for Humberto: 60 years old. His girlfriend is 36. I still like it.”
Presenter Dyantha Brooks: “Did you just say ‘respect’?”
Guido: “Yes, respect. He seems to be a very virile man, so: good for him.”
Dyantha: “What does that respect mean for him?”
Guido: “That he just, I think, that if you are Humberto, 60, and bald too, that you have such a beautiful girlfriend…”
Super fit
Celebrity photographer William Rutten states that Humberto looks very sexy without clothes. “He’s super fit, right? Not normal.”
Guido: “That’s what I’m saying. He’s very virile, very energetic.”
Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteedgen: “But what if you are bald?”
Guido: “No, guys, but we know what we mean, right? He’s 60, she’s 36. I just like that.”
Dyantha: “I would get a stomach ache if I were your wife.”
Guido: “Because? You know: I have the nicest wife in the world. She never has to worry.”
Dyantha concludes, “I know. And you love her.”
