GIGATON: Pearl Jam announce vinyl tour edition of their album

Pearl Jam will release a vinyl tour edition of their 2020 album GIGATON on July 8th, 2022. The vinyl will be accompanied by an additional CD with live versions of eleven of the project’s twelve songs.

The recordings took place during the festival season in autumn 2021. During this time, the band performed at the Sea.Hear.Now Festival in New Jersey and the Ohana Festival in Dana Point, California on.

The order of the tracks on the live version changes compared to the original album, with “Superblood Wolfmoon” opening the live album and “Who Ever Said” moving from first to ninth place. However, one track is also missing – “Comes Then Goes” is not included, as the song has not yet been part of the band’s live repertoire.

European tour

Pearl Jam are currently in Germany on their first European tour in four years. you play this Tuesday (June 28th) 2022 a show in Frankfurt am Main. Another date in Vienna follows on July 20th, before the band sets out on their North American tour on September 1st.

In addition, Pearl Jam are working on the successor to GIGATON. Andrew Watt, who previously worked on Eddie Vedder’s solo album EARTHLING (2022), acts as producer.
