Gibson Yah was originally midfielder, but was in the Practice match against VV Katwijk (1-1) posted by trainer Rick Kruys Centraal in the back. “The trainer knows that my best position that is of defensive midfielder,” says Yah. “Today it was mainly to see how this place felt in front of me. It went fine in itself, but I know I can still take a lot of steps in it.”
Pogba & Onana
When asked what type of player he is, Yah has to think for a moment.
“I don’t really have a player in the Eredivisie with whom I would compare myself,” he says. “I used to look a lot at Paul Pogba. I think he is a fantastic player. And also Amadou Onana from Aston Villa. Those are boys I look at. But I have my own qualities, and I try to show them.”
