Get rid of the glue and brush, election posters are increasingly under the spell

You will see less and less politicians who climb the ladder to stick election posters on the appropriate boards. No more sticking with glue and brush, but more and more municipalities are opting for digitally printed election signs, so-called trotters, for the upcoming provincial elections.

This applies, for example, to the municipality of Meppel, which is opting for this method for the first time. The new signs will be installed soon. Also in the municipality of Emmen, no large signs will be placed this year that can be covered by the parties. The trotters will appear in the streets before February 28 at various places in the municipality.

For the pre-printed election boards, municipalities call in an advertising company that makes the mobile election boards. The political parties must provide a digital election poster for this purpose.
