Gerry Weber has to postpone publication of the consolidated financial statements and annual general meeting

The clothing supplier Gerry Weber International AG cannot present its audited annual and consolidated financial statements on Friday as planned. Instead, the figures will now be published on May 30, the company said on Wednesday.

The reason for the postponement was “the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic and the initial audit by the new auditor KPMG, which carefully examines all processes and control mechanisms”. However, the Executive Board can “continue to confirm the figures published in advance on March 31, 2022 as provisional for the 2021 financial year,” according to a statement.

At the same time, the group said that the annual general meeting, which was scheduled for July 7, would also have to be postponed. According to the company, it now wants to “announce a new date as soon as possible”.
