German national football player Timo Werner, who plays in Leipzig, one of the German First Football League (Bundesliga) teams, will be away from the field until the end of the year due to his injury.


In the statement made by the Leipzig Club, it was reminded that Werner left the game with an ankle injury in the 19th minute of the match played against the Ukrainian representative Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League yesterday.


In the examination made today, it was shared that the experienced striker’s left ankle ligaments were torn and that Werner would not be able to play until the end of the year.
