Germany is now officially on Russia’s enemy list

The Kremlin has published a list of hostile and unfriendly states – and Germany is on it, according to the Russian news agency TASS!

The states named in the government decree accused of unfriendly acts against Russia:

▶︎ United States

▶︎ Canada

▶︎ All EU countries – including Germany

▶︎ The United Kingdom

▶︎ Ukraine

▶︎ Also Montenegro, Switzerland, Albania, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, North Macedonia, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Micronesia, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan.

The consequences? Manageable – and initially only of an economic nature.

The document states that Russian citizens and companies can settle foreign currency liabilities to creditors from the listed unfriendly states in rubles. Means: Instead of dollars or euros, there are only rubles for debts and loans on a special account – in Russia instead of at home!

For this purpose, the debtor applies to a Russian bank to open a special “C” ruble account in the name of the foreign creditor, to which he transfers payments in ruble equivalents at the Central Bank exchange rate on the day of payment. The upper limit is up to ten million rubles (around 65,000 euros) per month.
