Germany clears away from World Games

At the World Games, the Germany team really clears away. So far there have been more medals than at the Olympic Games.

Julia Rigg is in her element on the water. At the games in Chengdu, no other cable wakeboarders have better tricks. The gold medal. A clear thing for the 32 -year -old Rhinelander, who actually made a career as a footballer at the first FC Köln.
That’s correct. I was a second Bundesliga player and then discovered the wakeboard relatively by accident. But somehow I knew straight wakeboarding is exactly my thing.
The German beach handball players are also on the gold course. Both the men and women are in the final, including captain Lucie Marie Kretzschmar, daughter of handball idol Stefan Kretzschmar. The World Games a huge chance for athletes, through their successes of exotic sports such as tug of war or to put the ball sport lacrosse into the spotlight.
There are such great sports where you really think yes, madness, we should all try them out. I would like that of course our children may also be able to inspire.
With China, Germany is fighting for the top of the medal mirror. 13 times gold is available for the German team after a few days. This is already a gold medal more than last at the Olympic Games. The next World Games will take place in Karlsruhe in four years.
