Germany and Canada advanced to the semi-finals of the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
In the quarter-finals played in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, Germany and Latvia, Canada and Slovenia faced each other.
Germany advanced to the semi-finals by beating Latvia 81-79, while Canada defeated Slovenia 100-89 to reach the semi-finals.
In the other quarter-finals played yesterday, the USA beat Italy 100-63 and made it to the semi-finals, and Serbia became another team that reached the semi-finals by beating Lithuania 87-68.
After these results, USA-Germany and Serbia-Canada matches will be played in the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will be played on Friday, September 8th.
