FRANKFURT (Dow Jones)–The annual decline in German wholesale prices slowed again in November. As the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) announced, wholesale prices fell by 0.2 percent compared to the previous month and were 3.6 percent below the level of the same month last year. In October the annual rate was minus 4.1 percent and in September minus 4.2 percent. As in previous months, the main reason for the current decline was a base effect due to the high price increases in the previous year due to the war in Ukraine.
