After second and third place, Laura Philipp achieved her destination in 2025 and celebrated the first victory at the Challenge Roth. After 8:18:18 hours, the 38-year-old happily crossed the finish line, accepted the congratulations and showered with an XXL beer glass. “It was wonderful to run here as a winner. That is what I have dreamed of the past few weeks,” said Philipp in the BRSPort interview.
At kilometer 156 she passed Alanis Siffert, whom she had hunted until then. “That gave me a little push again and a bit the scepter in my hand that I could now determine how the pace should be over the last kilometers”.
