German couple who locked up children in Spanish “horror house” for years receive almost 3 years in prison

A German man (54) and his German-American wife (49) have been sentenced to two years and ten months in prison in Spain for the neglect and psychological abuse of their three children. The couple kept the children isolated for years in a heavily polluted home in Oviedo, in northern Spain. Police described the house as a “house of horror.”
