The Paris Criminal Court negotiated four trial days as to whether France’s film star Gérard Depardieu two women in 2021 should have inappropriately touched breasts and butt during the shooting of “The Green Hads” (Les Verts Verts) and sexually bothered with words.
On Tuesday (May 13th) the actor was now absent: Depardieu is guilty. The criminal court imposed an 18-month prison sentence that is exposed to probation. The 76-year-old is also officially reported as a sex offender and has to go to psychological treatment.
Depardieu confessed innocently during the process and showed no remorse. He admitted in court that he had touched the outfitter on his hips, but in his opinion that happened without sexual intentions.

His lawyer Jérémie Assoug therefore even called for the proceedings to be stopped, spoke of “invented accusations”. He also accused the public prosecutor of deliberately not allowed to have released witnesses. Assouus assumed financial motives for their lawsuit.
Depardieu’s victim reported during the trial of a negotiation that caused them more suffering than the actor during the shooting. They also referred to the offensive behavior of his lawyer, some of whom even mocked the audience in the hall as hysterically.
In the courtroom, Depardieu defended his suggestive choice of words towards the plaintiffs: “Each era has its own vulgarity, its own language, its own slang.” He was never attacking and as a person simply awkward and rough.
The court did not follow this attempts to relief and spoke the national cinema icon, who had also fallen into disgusted in his home country for years. Depardieu also threatens a further procedure for alleged rape.
