The genocide case against Myanmar started at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague on Monday. This was initiated by Gambia to expel the Rohingya minority in the Asian country in 2016 and 2017. About 700,000 people were forced to flee to neighboring Bangladesh by security forces. Many were murdered, raped or saw their homes reduced to ashes.
