General practitioner job fair must address shortage

All West Flemish GP circles are supporting the initiative. They also hope to get a clearer picture of which regions are more or less popular. Furthermore, it saves young doctors a lot of time.

More demand than supply

Twenty candidates registered for the job fair. So there is plenty of choice for them. First they learn at the event how to approach such an application. They then make contact with general practitioners from their preferred region or another area. Doctors who want to retire, but are forced to postpone it because they cannot find a successor, also came to the job fair.
