Fairy tales do not exist, but for ten fans of Geert Wilders that is the case on Monday. Together with a group of fans and his security park, the PVV leader is the Efteling park in Kaatsheuvel. This is reported by the Looopings PretPar website.
This initiative came after Wilders invited his supporters via Facebook last month under the name ‘All you Need Is Geert’ for a day at the amusement park. The PVV leader will not skip his favorite attraction Droomvlucht, reports Loooping. Wilders and his entourage can enter once through the exit of the attraction, says an information officer. They have to wait nicely in line.
Large security team
Wilders has had to deal with a threat for years and that is why he travels with a large security team. “We have made agreements with the PVV about that. That contact has now been there, in good consultation,” said Efteling about that. Due to safety, the date of the visit was not announced in advance.
Political expressions and activities are not allowed in the amusement park. “Wilders is welcome, just like any other visitor, as long as guests are not bothered by it,” a spokesperson said earlier. “Conducting campaigns, certainly in the run -up to the elections, is definitely not the intention.”
No professional recordings
The PVV person initially had the plan to make professional recordings of the visit to Efteling with his guests. The amusement park did not give permission for that. Like all other guests, he can take photos and videos with his phone from the day out.
