I assume that they will not return to the House,” says the GL/PvdA leader. “Representatives who stoop to this have no place in parliament.”
Wilders apologizes for Timmermans’ AI images
Wilders apologized earlier today after De Volkskrant revealed that AI images of Timmermans had been posted on a Facebook page managed by PVV MPs. The PVV leader called the use of such images ‘inappropriate’ and ‘unacceptable’ and emphasized that he was not involved in posting them.
Timmermans’ party has filed a report for possible defamation by the PVV MPs. The Facebook page ‘We are NOT reporting Geert Wilders’ is managed by PVV members Mikael Boon and Patrick Crijns. The page shares (fake) photos and cartoons of Timmermans, among others, including an image in which he is supposedly taken away in handcuffs by police officers.
