The winning spell against Empoli on 13 December earned the Torino striker recognition

A beautiful and very important goal, because it allowed Torino to regain points and confidence after a difficult period. Certainly a particular goal, impromptu, strange, but not at all random. Indeed, that feat tells a lot about the characteristics of the Scottish striker, his ability to read the game, adapt to situations and find intelligent solutions in just a few seconds. Adams came up with that shot practically out of thin air. I already had the shot in my head, because from the bench I noticed that the goalkeeper often tended to stay away from the posts. I’m particularly happy because the pressure was a lot. It’s certainly the best goal of my career, even if for an attacker all goals are wonderful.”
