Gas station attendant threatened with a gun for ten euros and some change

An employee of a gas station in Waalre got the fright of her life when she was hit in the face during an armed robbery last January. Loot: a tenner and some change. Images of the robbery were shown in Bureau Brabant on Monday evening in order to track down the perpetrators.

The robbery took place on January 22 at the gas station on Burgemeester Mollaan in Waalre. The images show two perpetrators. One robber stands guard at the entrance and the other walks to the cash register. The employee immediately has a gun pointed at her.

“The perpetrator went inside and my colleague was shocked,” says an employee of the gas station. “She said: I have nothing. There’s nothing here. But the perpetrator was not satisfied with that. My colleague gave him a tenner and some change so that the perpetrator would go outside.” Immediately afterwards, the employee took herself to safety in another location, at the back of the gas station.

The woman no longer works at the gas station. “We are still in extensive contact with her and try to support her as much as possible.” The police find a lot of violence, for just over ten euros, and are therefore calling on the public’s help to solve the case.
