Stadium blocked: traditional duel is postponed

On Sunday, the two traditional clubs Unterhaching and Rostock should duel in the 3rd league. But nothing becomes surprising.
The third division game between SpVgg Unterhaching and Hansa Rostock cannot take place on Sunday as planned. The reason: The stadium in Unterhaching was blocked by the municipality because there is no current, officially approved security concept. The German Football Association (DFB) announced on Wednesday.
A short -term move to an alternative venue was not possible. When the game will be made up is still open.
As the SpVgg announced, a security concept was submitted to the DFB as part of the approval process for the current season. However, this is “no longer sufficient according to the current assessment”. The municipality therefore sees the safe implementation of the game as “not guaranteed”.
According to the DFB, the club did not make and demonstrated the necessary adjustments for the safety -related requirements in good time.
