The department store chain Galeria opens the doors of the Fulda location after modernization.

The store in Fulda offers its range on a sales area of 8,300 square meters, Galeria announced on Thursday. The women’s, men’s, sports and home departments were reorganized and new brands were added to the range.

“Our inaugural series for 2022 has now really taken off with Fulda", explains Miguel Müllenbach, CEO of Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof. “We want to make a strong commitment to our Galeria 2.0 strategy, which was successfully launched in 2021, to the department store retail format and to lively inner cities in Germany, especially in an extremely difficult market environment."

As part of the ‘Galeria 2.0’ realignment, the department stores in Koblenz and Munich-Marienplatz will follow in September. A completely new store will then open in Berlin in October. Two locations in shopping centers in Hamburg and Oberhausen will then be modernized, as well as the store in Dresden at the end of the year.
