HANDBALL – The ladies of E&O have settled with their closest competitor De Tukkers in a gala performance. The team from Albergen was outplayed 42-22. The men of HV Unitas from Rolde also won last night. The Beekse Fusion Club was evicted in 26-22.
Before the match, the Tukkers from Albergen were in the women’s 1st division before E&O, but the home team from Emmen didn’t give a damn about their opponent. One shot after another hit the mark and in the end the counter only stopped at 42 goals. The Tukkers made no more than 22.
Due to the generous say, E&O passes De Tukkers in the stand. E&O is in 11th place after last night with 12 points from 15 games. Next week the ladies will visit the number eight Foreholte.
Unitas along subtopper
The men of HV Unitas from Rolde received BFC 2 from Beek last night. A duel with the number six from the 1st Division for men. The Drenthe have already won six times this year, but together with a draw and one loss, the team from Rolde could only be found in 13th place in the standings.
Despite the positions in the ranking, Unitas drew the longest end in its own Boerhoorn. 26 hits were enough to bring the visitors to their knees.
The win moves Unitas up one place to 12th position. The gap with the subtop can still be bridged. Next week the team will face another strong opponent in Aalsmeer HS3. That team is fourth in the 1st division.
