Gabor brings Peter Bradler to the board

The shoe supplier Gabor Shoes AG has filled two management positions. On Thursday, the company announced that Peter Bradler has been appointed chief executive officer for production, purchasing and sourcing, effective immediately.

In this function, the 57-year-old will be responsible “for technology and production in the Gabor plants in Portugal and Slovakia, for the central technical departments at the Rosenheim headquarters and for global purchasing,” said the shoe manufacturer. According to his new employer, Bradler has “more than 35 years of professional experience in the shoe industry, including around 25 years in management positions with well-known suppliers”.

The second newcomer is Tom Czizegg, who is now working as division manager for men’s shoes at Gabor. “His area of ​​responsibility includes the Pius Gabor brand products and Rollingsoft brand men’s shoes,” the company said. The 50-year-old is “a sales expert with 28 years of professional experience in the shoe sector, mainly in the sports and lifestyle segment,” according to a statement.

CEO Achim Gabor, who intends to give up his post next month, paid tribute to the two new executives. “With Peter Bradler and Tom Czizegg, we were able to recruit two industry professionals. You will enrich our company with your know-how and provide fresh impetus,” he said in a statement.
