The Rosenheim-based shoe retailer Gabor Shoes AG has introduced its new head of human resources. Since October 1, Frauke Kohl has been responsible for “the entire HR area including wages and salaries,” the company announced on Tuesday. Her goal is now to “further modernize and digitize the human resources of the shoe manufacturer”.

According to her new employer, the 39-year-old graduate business psychologist and business lawyer has “more than 15 years of professional experience in various sectors, including retail and e-commerce”. She has held various management positions in human resources at companies such as Penny, Schustermann & Borenstein and BestSecret.

CEO Achim Gabor commented on the personnel decision: “Especially in a time when there is a shortage of skilled workers, the human resources department is one of the key functions of every company. I am pleased that we were able to win such an experienced and committed colleague for Gabor in Frauke Kohl,” he said in a statement.
