Gabon and Mozambique faced each other in the second match of Group F of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Mozambique defeated Gabon 3-2 in the match in which 5 goals were scored.
While Mozambique’s goals came from Faisal Bangal in the 37th minute, Geny Catamo from the penalty in the 42nd minute and Diogo Calila in the 52nd minute, Gabon’s goals came from 45+5. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored in the minute and Alex Moucketou-Moussounda scored in the 76th minute.
With this result, Mozambique got its first win in the groups and rose to 3 points. Gabon, on the other hand, lost both matches and could not collect any points yet.
