The leaders of the G7 countries have declared their readiness to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine due to the military operation of Russia, the joint statement says. leaders’ statement G7.
“We are ready to provide humanitarian assistance to alleviate the consequences of Russian aggression, including for refugees and displaced persons,” the message says.
The leaders condemned Russia’s conduct of the special operation and said they strongly supported Kiev. “We strongly condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine. We announce our unceasing support and solidarity with Ukraine,” the document says.

On the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a military operation to support the DNR and LNR. According to Putin, the goal of the operation is the “demilitarization and denazification” of Ukraine. According to him, Moscow is not going to occupy a neighboring state.
