It has been in the pipeline for a long time, but now it’s finally official that there will be a new album by the US rapper Future. It is scheduled for release on April 29, 2022. The Atlanta-born rapper announced this on Instagram after he had been hinting there for days. He also named the album title. His ninth studio album will be called I NEVER LIKED YOU. Future shared this information along with a picture that is the artwork of the album.
Future: “I want to share my pain with the world”
The picture shows Future casually leaning back in a business outfit, with glittering jewelery on his wrists and a sleep mask in the back seat of a luxurious car. It was created during a photo shoot for the American men’s magazine “GQ”, whose current cover he adorns. On the magazine cover, Future poses in an outfit worth over $60,000. The title “The Best Rappers Alive“. He also told the magazine what the theme of I NEVER LIKED YOU will be: “I want to share my lifestyle with the world, I want to share my pain with the world. I want to share my personal lows and highs with the universe.”
The album became the single “worst day‘ released along with the music video. In addition, Future recently wrote the song “hold my heat‘ released together with Southside and Travis Scott, who probably won’t be on Future’s new album. In return, Kanye West, FKA twigs and Babyface Ray are expected to be heard on I NEVER LIKED YOU. Future’s current album HIGH OF LIFE was released in 2020 and was well received by fans and critics.
