On Wednesday (June 28th) the Fusion Festival starts at the Müritz Airpark in Lärz, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. On five festival days, national and international electro, hip-hop, jazz and punk artists will be hand in hand. In addition to music, theater and dance performances, as well as talks and workshops are offered. In this article you will learn everything you need to know about Fusion 2023.
tickets
The tickets for the Fusion Festival are so coveted that you have to register for a lottery in advance to get a chance at a ticket. The Open Air is accordingly sold out. However, there is a ticket exchange where buyers can sell their unused tickets to fans who are still waiting. These cost the same as the tickets in actual sale: 220 euros. The “Ticket:Börse” can be found exclusively on the Festival website. The operators expressly point out not to buy the tickets from any other providers.
getting there
By car
For visitors arriving by car, the Fusion team provides the following information on the website: Coming from Hamburg or Berlin on the A24, change to the A19 towards Rostock. Then take the second exit (No. 18, Röbel) and follow the B198 towards Neustrelitz. After the village of Vietzen, turn right to the Lärz airfield. Caution: two speed cameras on the B 198.
By public transport
If you want to use the Deutsche Bahn offer to get to the Fusion, you should head for Neustrelitz station. From there, the festival will provide shuttle buses that will take you to the festival site. Due to the increased rush and announced controls at the station by the Federal Police, the site pointed out the possibility of an alternative arrival using the Bassliner buses. The Fusion is not a pure music festival, although this is of course the focus. Headliners are Anja Schneider, Komfortrauschen and Tropikel Ltd.. Apsilon, Ebow, Fracture, Gregor Tresher, Hidden Empire, LENI, Nina Hepburn, Salò and many more are also booked.
Time schedule
Although the fusion officially begins on Wednesday, the first day is mainly used for quiet programming. The open-air stages open at 6 p.m. on Thursday. Weather
Mild weather is expected for Fusion weekend. About 22 degrees are possible on the different days. At night it cools down to 14 degrees. In addition, rain showers are forecast for Friday and Saturday in the afternoon.
