Fugitive drug suspect arrested at holiday park | 1Limburg

The 26-year-old Alain C. from Heerlen, who is linked to an international drug organization, was arrested on Thursday evening at a holiday park in Westerhoven in Brabant.

The Public Prosecution Service (OM) confirms this to L1.

Production and import
According to the judiciary, the twenty-something – once a talented goalkeeper in the youth of Fortuna Sittard and Roda JC – was engaged in the production and import of synthetic drugs. Alain’s lawyer Wesley Houben says he does not want to respond to the arrest of his client for the time being.

Ibiza arrests
Earlier this month, the investigation services already handcuffed Brunssumer Conner S. (30) and 24-year-old Khalid ‘Soes’ B. from Heerlen. That happened on the Spanish holiday island of Ibiza. The duo has since been surrendered to the Netherlands. Alain, Conner and Khalid were brought before the examining magistrate on Monday and will remain in detention for at least two weeks.

Headpiece Harry P.
With this arrest, several people are now stuck in the large drug case. Harry P. (32) from Bergeijk, descendant of a well-known Brabant gypsy family, is seen by the prosecutor as the big fish in this process. The gang would be led by the Brabander. The case concerns various amphetamine labs in Eygelshoven, Tegelen, Kassel and Ruppach in Germany and just across the Belgian border in Lanaken. Pills were produced there in storage and production locations.
