This anniversary month, Flor, its founder takes a tour of the first steps, embarking on her own artisanal portfolios brand in Buenos Aires.
“I started from a personal desire, since I was a fan of styling and the accessories that give their own identity. I sought to reflect my eclecticism and spontaneity, in disruptive bags that stand out between so much massiveness that the market offers. I always prefer the rare adjective before the beautiful. freshness, ”synthesizes.
The value of the trade today
From the Studio Guard fuses design and art with artisanal manufacturing obtaining authentic pieces. Together with artisan women they developed a low -scale production circuit, where a design is produced in countless variants: “I personally select noble materials such as Argentine leather, embroidery, upholstery panas or printed and hand -painted canvases in mixed techniques,” Flor explains.
The future is collaborative
“As a designer, graduated from the National University of Buenos Aires, I bet on alliances between colleagues of Argentine art and design. I think that we can enhance, and give us mutually visibility is the path that expands our talent. The latest participations in Colab were with brands such as Kempel, Disorder, and Marina Paci with whom we continue a collection inspired by botany,” he says.
The product offered to your audience
“We manufacture timeless leather goods, from jackie -style wallets to backpacks and decentralized bags, and hyper versatile. We also develop personalized products, with molerity from scratch. In turn, we offer retail and wholesale sale, advising those who represent us at each point of sale to accompany their ventures,” he says.
Futuristic challenges
“The noblest challenge, further optimizing production processes to collaborate with the environment. Doing it by hand, is a way of controlling the overall, but we will soon explode our re-circular profile,” he concludes.
